During my tests it was able to clean the X2 Omni washed its pad in just over a second and then got to work. I noticed that it was more accurate than other models that seemed to follow the grid of rooms. It was able navigate corners and edges of my rooms, and also make "Zambani patterns" both in and out of the middle of the room. It also returned to its OMNI station regularly to empty the dust bin and clean the mop using hot water prior to beginning another cleaning job.

Like other Ecovacs products, the X2 Omni is a breeze to set up and start using. Place the dock in its place, plug it in and pair it with your home WiFi network. It takes only about a minute. After that, you can start the app and begin with your first cleaning project. I was able to customize my floor plan in less than 15 minutes. This included creating limited areas for mopping and sweeping and rearranging the layout of furniture on the wall, and more. The X2 Omni impressed me in my tests. It scored high in the areas of pet hair removal and debris removal, and also had near-perfect results for edge and crevices cleaning.

2. Deebot T10 Omni

If you're looking for a strong combination of mopping and vacuuming, check out the EcoVACS Deebot Omni. It is the most sophisticated of the T-line offered by the brand and features the OZMO Turbo2.0 mopping system that utilizes a dual-spinning brush for superior cleaning than traditional scrubbing. It also has YIKO, an artificial language processing technology that is the first of its kind. It can respond to various voice commands. The ECOVACS App lets you design your home, create cleaning schedules and adjust settings.

The biggest con with the T10 Omni is that it's unable to switch from mopping to vacuuming in one run. The two modes require that you attach and take off the mop heads as needed and is suitable for most homes, but isn't an ideal choice for those with busy lifestyles.

The Deebot T10 is a fantastic robot vacuum that delivers impressive results. It was able to vacuum up more than 96% of the dust we threw at it on our hardwood floors, which is an outstanding performance. It did a great job on tiles and carpets, removing 99percent of dirt.

This robot vacuum and mops has a large docking system that allows for automatic cleaning with cool water for the mop pads. It's a mid-range robotic cleaner that's appealing even if its claim of being a one-stop-shop for floor cleaning does not come true.

The X8 Hybrid looks like a regular robotic vacuum cleaner from the top with its circular design with sweeping wheels, as well as an elevated area for sensors. Turn it upside down, however, and you'll find an electric floor brush as well as a single side sweeper that pushes dirt from the edges into the main pathway of the robot's mouth. The A4s Pro is expensive, but it's a great option for those who wish to be able to leave the house hands-free so they can take on other tasks or take care chores. The A4s Pro has a convenient auto-cleaning mode that boosts suction to get rid of difficult dirt or spills. It also has a battery-powered ElectroWall to establish boundaries for the robot.

This budget-friendly robot from a renowned brand is the cheapest we've tested and provides incredible value for the money. The basic navigation system is based on a very basic random pathing algorithm and it's not equipped to map rooms. This is why it's less effective as other models on this list. However it's still able get under furniture and into corners and its mopping mode performed well during our tests it picked up pet hair and other debris effortlessly.

Shark's iQ isn't quite as sturdy as the Roomba S9, but it is superior in general at cleaning up pet hair on all surfaces. It does a better job of cleaning low-pile carpet and floor surfaces that are bare. It also uses intelligent-pathing navigational software to improve mobility. It also allows you to transfer it to a particular room, and its advanced suite of automation features include no-go zones as well as scheduling. It even lets you stop and restart cleaning sessions which is ideal for households with pets.

Its self cleaning brushroll prevents knots and holds up to 30 day's worth of dirt. It has a set angled side brushes to reach into corners and a multi-stage filter system that captures dust, allergens, and dander.
